Natural Disaster Recovery and Planning Tips

  • Contact FEMA at www.fema.gov or by phone at (800) 621-3362, to establish a claim. (FEMA currently reimburses qualified individuals for the purchase of items like generators and chainsaws.)

  • Contact your property and casualty insurance company to file your claims.

  • Document damage to your property with photographs.

  • Prevent further destruction of property.

  • Keep receipts.

  • Keep updated on boil water alerts.
